jtk, read what I wrote under "Hybrid Materials & Processing" . You'll see that I wrote "Scanned negative" which probably means that what is going with the image is that I scanned it and by the way, the "black blob" is a result of a little thing I like to call "underexposure" and it was deliberate. I was exposing for the sunlight side of the face, not the hair in the deep shadows. Not all film has the latitude to give adequate exposure across all zones in high contrast situations. Also, it's 35 mm film which means I develop for the whole roll and not for individual frames. Some frames are going to have "black blobs" and some aren't
