A beautiful portrait Kevin, but spoiled somewhat by the movement blur on the hands and arms,if it was mine I would crop them off and make it a horizontal picture.

Thanks, Bentley. I completely agree about the movement blur, and am sure that a tighter square crop or even horizontal would be cleaner.

Just to be contrary, and from the experince of having three boys myself, I like the hands. Busy boys...busy hands!

I would re-take the photo before cropping this one. Hands -- one of the more under-rated elements of portraiture!

Agreed... I find the hands very expressive.

Thanks Vaughn and Suzanne. I have some similar shots where the hands are more in context, for example, where he is shaking a soft toy, so I will post one or two of those for comparison.

I can see he takes after his father. I like the blurred hands as well.
