1st4x5print

For good or bad but for all time, this is my very first print from my very first 4x5 shot.
Old dried up Mother's Day flowers given to my wife. I've used them as a test subject several times.
I can think of a few things to do differently, both exposure and composition but it is what it is, the first.

First or not, it looks like you know what you are doing! And more interesting than mine - that was a bookshelf.

I still have to remind myself to take the time to study the whole screen in detail if circumstances permit. Even 5x4 is too big to really take in at a glance. And it isn't as though the flowers are going anywhere

I'll shoot it again before too long just for more practice. A little more/different DOF and change the angle on the lighting maybe.

'Seems outstanding to me for a first & dang good for any after. 'Good thing I can't afford another format - this would be very encouraging. Bravo Larry!

Good one. I like that the light rose and white ribbon are in focus!
