Used some 'gift' 1984 dated Kodak Panatomic X nominally 32 ASA with my 'de-squeaked Canon A-1' and processed in Rodinal 1+50 for 12 mins at 20oC-- a lot of the A-1 negs were very DENSE -- I found the shutter was running SLOW on the slower speeds -- I had a look in the base-plate but could not see any lubricant leakage-- I changed to CHINON CG-5 for next test and cut dev time to 11 mins
Good to see some some Pan-X shots again. I remember way back when I used this film often, and sending an order for more only to receive a few rolls of TMax100, and being told that this was the replacement for Pan-X...it wasn't ):
yes -- thanks for viewing -- I got it from a Studio Photographer who asked at our Club if anyone 'still used FILM' so of course I said " Yes-I do -- but all my film is now outdated " -- "Well if you like outdated you can come to my Studio as I want more space on my 'fridge for BEER " he said -- so I took my Boy and we were shown into his darkroom and opened a fridge and he gave us LOADS of different films, 10 pack of HP5+, some bulk E6, 120 Agfachrome and the famous PANATOMIC X --
