This is a long story, please skip it if necessary. Last year in december I obtained a present from my younger brother to my birthday. It was delicate, dirty, old LF wooden camera body. He bought it for $20, thinking about doing pleasure to this fanatic of silver. I finished repairs this weekend. But no lens yet found. I have Yamasaki 300mm portait, but very heavy and large for this old masterpiece. (there is engraved on bottom date 18.7.1895) So I am looking now for some appropriate brass lens, but this is another story. Meanwhile I bout for few money ORWO film produced in 1992. What to do ? I found lens with 42mm thread, removed from them last glass and it can focus for about 300mm. Well everything is on place, also my so patient wife, sitting in front of camera for test. At 11 clock in night, sitting under droplight. I am counting on fingers 6 and then 12 seconds. Going to darkroom and, beacuse too hurry and left clocks out, developing by inspection ? in developer and water bath. I was going to sleep at 2 in night, but I saw something on negative, this is very nice feeling for idiot behind camera .... :-) This was again adventure ...
