Hmmm, perfect product photography, very well done.

On another note, I normally do not lust for motor cars, but this version of the first Porsche production car is very nice. Perhaps the nicest version of the 356.

Does the G in the number plate stand for Gmünd?

As you own one of these, you'll know what I mean.

Sadly no - these are government plates issued by the DMV. I asked for them to hold the next plate that had 356 in it and that happened to include the G. That being said - can I use that line next time I'm asked?

There's always a meet for these models (and early 911s) in Melbourne every November - feel free to check it out if it takes your fancy, usually around the 24-27.

I have been to a couple of these, I have a friend with one, not currently running, so it may be so time before I can go to one in one.

As for using the G line, I would; one way to find out if they really know what they are talking about.

One of my brother in-laws neighbours (in Germany) has a Karmann version, she has been offered some unbelievable figures to part with it.

Once again, it is a wonderful picture.

Like this! The bridge rail and sky are wonderful. One of my collage buddies had one of these - really nice car, and, I still love the looks and the sound.

Cheers - it's actually a US import (California), been here for almost 25 years. It's a real joy to drive - pity the weather is soooo horrid right now.
