1941 wedding

1941 wedding

well not really 1941...but the car was.

i was shooting a wedding on sat. i got to shoot a few 8x10s also. i had 2 prints ready for brunch on sunday morning. it was fun listening to the groom harass the digital videographer cause the analogue photographer brought images and he had nothing!

i also cropped the scan to be the same as the window i cut in the matte that i gave to the B&G.

It's probably because I'm a car guy, but the first thing I noticed was the missing hubcap!

Good job in tricky light.

I'm not a car guy, but I noticed it pretty fast...oh well one can always PhotoShop one in (duck and cover!)

But a fun, well-done image! One could get a philosophical -- the missing hubcap could represent the shortcomings in life and marriages, and the constant need to work on one's relationships...even after the vows.

yeah. i was in charge of the photos not the car. he he he! it is missing a moulding around the windows and could use a good bit of general going over.

the B&G loved it.

I suppose it's because this has the whole car in it and maybe the background vista as well but this has much more of the feel of a 1941 shot than the other.

Nice one

35mm, 120 and 8x10, give that man a medal!

Very nice picture this one, the bridal dress looks terrific here.

Mick.

Bravo! I noticed all the bullet holes before the hubcap. Buick eh?
