Much better if cropped (about 1/3 bottom). Very good DOF.

I agree with Kyprianos, I think it would be better with the cropping.
Are these from prints, or straight from the negatives?

Yes, it would be better without the bottom. I didn't want to lose on the sides (because of the trunk), but I can try.
