Long live the 1911. A classic weapon classically rendered. Oddly enough I had planned to shoot (in the photographic sense) mine in the near future as well. I've been reading on the Strobist site and want to try some of his lighting ideas. With film of course.

Oh dear. Maybe Paterson just didn't see her holster when he met her.

Nicely done. Very nice tone, edging and raw composition. I suppose that I wish that the supporting material didn't look quite so carpety.
