Build date on the foot of one of the towers supporting the Portageville bridge, found near the south end of Letchworth State Park in western NY state. The bridge is about 230 feet high and 880 feet long, carrying the Norfolk-Southern RR over the Genesee River gorge. This just took an award in a local juried art show.

This shot and the other one would make a lovely series for an exhibition set. Well observed and composed and the tone suits the subject perfectly.
