Like the shot very much. Are we seeing the shadow on ice, snow or a building?

It's just the tree branches against the snowy skies, the lens is wide open so the branches on the side are just out of focus.

I like this one best. I would like to see it cropped a little, but I think most photos could stand a little cropping.
