017 - Outtake

I drove to Glacier Point explicitly to take a photograph of Half Dome. I had no idea that i would be higher in elevation that the magnificent dome. It gets lost in the scene. Still, it was a most beautiful early morning view. I came home with tremendous memories even if the photos fail to capture the magniitude of the imagery.

Outtake my petootie. It presents on the small screen like a mono watercolor of the first stripe. Nor have I ever seen this view of the dome. Its excellent.

Very nice picture even if it is not what you intended. It is strangely soft and ethereal.
