Last year i had the pleasure of using a Pentax 67II and a 300mm F4 edif lens and the two latest TC's. Very sharp even WO and even with the 1.4x.
    I now have a P645nII and a 200mm FA and 400mm FA lens and 2 tc's

Neither lens is as sharp WO as the 67 300 EDIF lens was. Neither lens with the 1.4 is as sharp either. Out of my last 30 645nII shots there were a few that were as sharp and now I partly suspect film flatness.

Also with the 67 300 and either TC I saw no CA. My 67 TC's were the latest models.

With these 645 lenses I am seeing a good bit of CA with the 1.4x and 2x tc's. Is this normal ??

    My questions are.........

Anybody see a 67 300mm F4 edif lens that beat the Petax 645 300mm or 400mm EDIF lens ?? (curious)

How many versions of the 645 TC's were there. Were there 2 like the 67. Maybe I have the early ones ?? I am really suprised that both of these are causing CA.

Anybody else see any CA from their 645 TC's ??

If there is an early and a late, how do you tell them apart ??

I thought the 200 F4 FA lens was one of the best 645 lenses, but mine is soft WO, and does not get crisp until F8. I need a sharp WO lens.
