Project Basho is pleased to announce a brand new schedule of photography classes and workshops for Fall 2010. This semester brings a number of new instructors to our studio to teach newly developed weekend workshops in addition to the regular series of photography classes that have become a mainstay of our program.

Shelby Lee Adams, recently named a Guggenheim Fellow, will be returning to Project Basho to teach his popular Environmental Portraiture workshop. Participants will shoot alongside Shelby and will consider the importance of establishing a relationship between photographer and subject.

Bill Schwab will also be returning in the fall and this time he is bringing his trailer hitch mobile darkroom to teach a workshop on Mobile Wet Plate Collodion. In this workshop, Bill will present preparation and processing of plates in the field and participants will gain hands-on experience working outside the comfort zone of a studio and permanent darkoom.

Other exciting workshops include Henry Horenstein's weekend workshop on developing personal style, Clay Harmon's Introduction to Polymer Gravure, Sandy King's Carbon Printing workshop, and many more.

To see our complete fall semester schedule please visit our classes and workshops page.
