Allegheny Aqueduct, 1824, found outside of Gibraltar in Berks County. This once carried a Schuylkill Navigation Company canal across Allegheny Creek. <br />
Scan is from a contact print on EFKE Varycon from an 8x10 negative on Fuji HR-T X-ray film. It was taken with a DWThomas pinhole camera(!) Framed, this print currently hangs in an exhibition "Rollin' on the River: The Schuylkill and It's Canals" at the Berks History Center in Reading, up into September 2015. <br />
Its use was solicited after it won an award at the 2014 Scenes of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area last September. (Pinhole -- whoda thunk it!)
