Ancient Tree did not survive Storm . Canon A-1 + FD SSC 100mm f2.8 lens, 03/2005 Fuji REALA
Looks like an ash -- over here they are being killed off by the emerald ash borer which sort of girdles the tree by eating across the cambium layer. I have four of mine treated by injecting them with nasty stuff every two or 3 years, but it's expensive. Anyway, glad to see an A-1 doing things; last had mine out at a Women's March a few years back.
