Hello!
I am freshly back from a 10,000+ mile drive across this great country of ours. After almost 7 weeks in a mini van with three 12 year old boys, I am ready to take on the world! Who needs sanity, anyway?!
So, after giving a carbon demo in September at the APUG gathering planned in Vancouver, WA, I will be in Newport, Oregon in November to give a hands-on workshop in the Art of Carbon Printing for up to 6 participants.
We will meet at 4pm on Friday, Nov 13th for basically the same demo I will be giving in Vancouver, WA...but with more audience participation. Then we will spend all day Saturday and Sunday making prints. The participants will be using carbon tissue I will make prior to the workshop.
The goal is for the participants to return home with enough information and practical experience to begin to make this incredible photographic process their own -- to allow it to sing in their own voices.
Sign-up for the workshop has begun, space is limited to just 6 participants, so don't delay! Dang, I am starting to sound like a car salesman...
But if you are interested, I can email you a pdf of the workshop brochure. The cost will be $200 plus a $50 material and facility fee.
I am more than happy to answer any questions here, or via pm/email.
