Hi Vaughn,
I agree, very nifty trick! I actually love making handmade contrast control masks with tracing paper. I've never tried just drawing on the glass.

I still hope to come up with something with a little more tech and control. I can really see the value in that with the work I'm doing right now so I'll keep plugging away. If I have a 'Eureka!' moment on the subject, I'll be sure to report it here first

I have been doing Palladium toned Kallitypes for a couple of years now.. saving the last of my Azo for that special negative that isn't quite right for alt.
I'm pretty much a hermit when it comes to getting out with other photographers. But I see that the next get-together is in September '09 in Vancouver, USA. I would love to come and meet people who can REALLY photograph. The examples on the web are just lovely!

Thanks

Alan

I would not come if I were you, Alan...I am going to do my best to get folks hooked on carbon printing. And the only known cure for a carbon habit is silver emulsion making.

Thanks for the warning Vaughn but it's too late. I have already been contemplating carbon printing and I'm looking forward to the purchase of Sandy King's book.
