The Price of Zuiko 40 mm F2

Hi Guys!
About 15 years ago I bought Zuiko 40mm F2 lens. Then the price was 150 € including post.In this week I saw that one Zuiko 40 mm F2 lens is on the web and the price is 1499 €. I wrote and asked if the price is right or is this a joke. No joke. During a couple of years the price of this lens is increased.

Last eBay auction sold Mar 24, 2021 2380,65 €. Another eBay auctions: Mar 15, 2021 1899 €, Mar 13.2021 2052,28 €.
If you own Zuiko 40 mm F2 and use it, like I do, keep it.

ha, I have one in mint condition which I am not using...happy to take offers on it, but I listed it here before and no one was interested!

I love my Pentax 50 1.7, and they are fortunately readily available.

I just noticed the prices for these lenses this week and they have gotten crazy.

Defiantly out of my reach now.
