A Camera Club member gave me an OM-10 saying " The winder doesn't work" -- I had a look and also the mirror was up and he had it set to 'Manual Adaptor' instead of 'Auto' as there was NO Manual Adaptor with it.
Well, I put in new batteries and put camera on 'Check' and LO !! and BEHOLD !! It suddenly creaked into life !
So I took off the base-plate 2 screws with my JIS Screwdriver and had a look then put ONE drop of Sewing Machine Oil into a dish and picked up some on a very small brush and very carefully lubricated all the cogs and levers, then put the batteries back and it winds on 'sweetly' now and all works . So soon to put a FILM in and try it out -- the RED LED's come on in the viewfinder.
