Anyone know the thickness and type of the foam that is used on the film loading door on the OM 1 / 2 etc .Thanks

Hi Colin,

Jon Goodman's site has a PDF file for the OM-1: http://www.kyphoto.com/classics/seal/Olympus_OM-1n_OM1.pdf
It seems to be about 2mm. I use a mouse mat that is about 1.5mm that seems to be enough.
No light leaks.

Don't know if John still sells the kits. Have you looked a zuiko.com? They are not difficult to replace. Sometimes messy. Bill Barber
