Hi Fellow Sinar Users Group!
I am searching high and low for parts (or a whole one) for my Sinar unplugged m-top unit. (no need for fiber optic cable or PCI card). We are having trouble figuring out which part has gone bad but we think it might be 552.11.050 but it has a green light on it and the fan is running but it might be a circuit board short??
Basically when I set up, the camera back and the computer are not talking to each other as it say's it's 'offline'. Yes, we have tried 2 computers, 2 fiber optic cables, 2 backs = thus our conclusion that it's something in the m-top kit itself.
So, looking for parts to buy or rent or borrow to figure this problem out so that I don't have to buy all new gear, laptop, software upgrades, etc. I know not many of these units were sold so feels like a needle in a haystack search and Sinar won't take for repair. I've only seen one listing on ebay for the whole m-top unit but I missed that auction. (I have emailed the seller asking if he would put me in touch with the buyer in case they are a reseller.)
Any advice or information anybody can provide would be most appreciated!!!!
