Hasselblad

PC-Mutar 1,4x T* Shift/Tele-converter

#1
Hello All,

Question about Hasselblad PC-Mutar 1,4x T* if do not mind.

I took this photo, yesterday with my Sonnat 250mm, which I have not used in some time. Then, I got the bright idea to attach the 1.4 Teleconverter for 350mm of focal length.

Well, after assuring Shutter Release Cable was set-up and adjusted, according to instructions, then released the shutter, I found that I could cock the PC-Mutar, but I could not wind the camera body's Winding Crank, until, I removed the PC-Mutar from the camera body, then everything worked normally.

I can re-install the PC-Mutar, release the shutter, but again cannot wind the camera body's Winding Crank to advance film, cock the shutter, etc., until I remove the PC-Mutar, again, which is easy to remove and re-install.

I have inspected the PC-Mutar and it seems to function perfectly off camera. And, the 503CW camera body works perfectly. I tried a different Shutter Release Cable and it was the same. I tried a different lens and it was the same.

Do you have any clue? Maybe I have just forgotten how to use the PC-Mutar? The camera body instructions and the PC-Mutar instructions were no help.

Thanks, in advance.

If someone here has experienced the same problem and solved it, I would truly appreciate your advice.
