Expired TriX

#1
I have got some TriX 35mm & 120 expired two years back and ILFORD FP4 in 2014, this is first time I will use expired films. Have no idea how it was stored!
Should I rate TriX at 300 ASA and how much push I can do with XTol or D76?

Do not 'Push' expired film especially if you do not know how it was stored -- all you will do is to increase the 'Fog' level -- downrate and develop normally.

Dear Pentaxpete,

Thank you very much for your suggestion about the processing of expired TriX. I never used the anti fog in developing films, so I am not really used to with this part. Though I know about it and I have little anti fog at home, it came with
one Formulary paper developer.
'increase the 'Fog' level -- downrate and develop normally' Could please explain little bit about the application of this agent if you don't mind.

Saibal.

Not sure what you mean by 'application of this Agent' -- I do not add any anti-fog chemicals to film developers but I DO add a little 1% Benzotriazole to paper developers as all my B&W papers are now 'outdated' .
