Beseler 23C enlarger

Found and ordered a Beseler 23C enlarger on ebay. Anyone out there have likes or dislikes of Beseler enlargers? A website says that Beseler is still in the business?

The fact that Beseler is still in business is a huge plus and the differences between the various 23C models are very minor. That said they are not the easiest enlarger to align or the easiest enlarger to keep aligned. If your enlarger is very used expect to put some parts into it. A lot of 23C's previously lived in school darkrooms, a hard life for any enlarger.

Yes, I did buy a parts kit that was reasonable on ebay. Must have been in a school.
