I often have a glass of red while printing. Not so much lately but you have inspired me to get back to it. I bet you could tone with wine. A loooong bath in selenium goes very purple. What about for negs?

Very cold in Iowa, in the single digits. Not sure where you are at, but I try hard to keep chemical temps at a stable 68 degrees while printing. Wonder if anyone out there recommends a wine for printing and sipping.
It's very cold on the West Coast of Iowa tonight so I'm upstairs, the darkroom is 58 degrees, I could warm it up with my space heater just not feeling it tonight. Back to wine I bought a vintage 2016 Nouveau Beaujolais these are French wines intended to be consumed young.
It is 18C here or just under 0F (I think). I have to use a heater in my darkroom beginning in late October and this time of year it is hard to get the darkroom much over 60F.
Mike, I think that your Beaujolais, which was nouveau last year, might be like year-old Dektol.
Well, just like with the Dektol, give it a go! We await the results. Are there step tablets for wine?
