Broken Contax II worth saving?

So last year, I found an old broken contax II at a thrift store for $15, and sent it to Mark Hama for a repair attempt (the shutter is pretty much gone on it), and while it's certainly in better shape than it was before, Mark couldn't fix it. Is this something I should invest money into trying to save (and if so, where should I send it?), or is this camera just another shelf item?

You might contact Advance Camera in Portland Oregon. They did a CLA on my Contax IIa.
