Ok took out the 124G for a quick shutter excerise as one does (or is supposed to,) clicked shutter, then wound on and after reaching frame 1 the wind on stopped winding locking in either direction and the shutter button was also locked - the rotary lock was still in the free position.

On inspecting I noted that the rear group of the taking lens has condensation (and I have seen the effects of this being etching).

So does anyone know where the winder shutter interlock is, i.e. is it just lifting leatherette and which bit of leatherette to lift.

And does anyone know how to access the between the lens shutter blades. For Zippo fluid on end of sable brush...

I have the lens spanners i.e. the rubber stoppers and ground down pliers, but dont like the task at all.

Any help really appreciated, - I have tried the search but it does not seem to have a good thread. I would not mind being told my search was bad...

Well fixed part of the problem, if the release is held in 1/4 of the travel the winder will turn and the shutter will release, the shutter is ok at each of its speeds.

So I have only two problems
- what is wrond with the interlock and
- the lens cleaning

Any help appreciated
