I'm going to use my Hassie in the studio for the first time. I'm connecting a radio trigger via a short sync cable.

I just wanted to confirm that it should be on X sync, correct?

yes, X sync. Assuming electronic flash, at least. M is for flashbulbs. V is the self timer, and I think you get X sync when it pops.
