For Sale WTD: Lightroom 6 for mac

Looking for lightroom 6 here. I am still on LR4 and ready to bump up to 6 finally.
I'm looking for a disk version, not a download.

I know you said you want it on disk but is it really worth that much to you? You can get the download version (as an upgrade) from Adobe for $79.

Adobe doesn't sell Lightroom 6 on disk via their web store but they do through third party retailers like B&H and Adorama. No doubt they'd rather have everyone on subscription (that was their original intent) but when users raised a huge stink over the subscription-only model, they "committed" to continuing to offer the perpetually licensed product as a standalone, non-subscription product for some indeterminate time period.

Doesn't LR5 have the Maps module? Thought it did...

Personally, if I were going to drop my CC subscription, I'd upgrade from LR5 to LR6 first. I'm not quite there yet but always have it in the back of my mind...

That’s if you’re willing to submit to the Cloud model of doing business with Adobe, which I steadfastly refuse to do. If ever there comes a day when I have no choice but to run Lightroom by connecting to Adobe via the Web, that will end my relationship with Adobe.
I understand Adobe has adopted this pay-as-you-go model to create a stable revenue stream, but I firmly believe that a persons work station should be able to function fully (and indefinitely) as a stand-alone tool kit, without having to connect to anyone or anything outside the immediate environment.
Just because Adobe has crafted a Lightroom service that has the appearance of advantages geared towards the user doesn’t mean there are real, substantial advantages - it’s just Adobe changing the product to throttle usability and thus force the user to conform to a model that best fits Adobe’s needs. No thanks.

What do you mean by “cloud model”?
You download the software and install it on your computer. You don’t have to stay connected to anything. The software is on your computer.
As said before, it’s a bargain. €144 for LR + Photoshop.

You don't have to stay connected but you do have to connect to the internet periodically so that the software on your computer can verify with Adobe that you've paid your subscription and also for updates. I gather for some people that's a problem.

Lightroom Classic CC is not cloud-based (Lightroom CC is), and you only have to connect to Adobe every couple of months so they can verify you are still subscribing. Still, you may prefer LR6, and if you are not planning on buying a new camera anytime soon, it may be the best option for you. If so, you better get the latest version now, as it is not long for this world.

and that right there is my issue with Adobe:they plan on killing the standalone option ASAP and wean users off of it, so they can force people to use the Cloud model. I’m not having it.

Guess you will need to consider Corel and their team of Paintshop Pro and Aftershot Pro.
You will be able to use the Aftershot Pro on Linux too.
