I just got the Satinsnow GG Dave mailed. Some may remember that my camera went for a trip and the GG became many very small ground glasses (I think that is grammatically correct). Dave had some extra 5x7 glass. He could have told me to lump it or ignored me, or asked me to pay extra because I know he has a lot of orders to fill but he didn't. In fact he contacted me and offered to help. And it was not extra. The same price as he would charge anyone.

Product Review
WOW....it is like looking at a small TV. It really is that bright. Even stopped down to F45 I did not have to wait for my eyes to adjust I just had to get closer. Kind of glad my other one broke because I was having hard time justifying replacing a perfectly good piece of glass.

If you need another piece of GG SatinSnow is the place to get it.

Talk about a GREAT product and GREAT owner.

Just recieved and installed two GG from Dave and I have to agree the screen is brighter then I thought possible. Above all else was the customer service first rate; the rest of the business world needs to take a lesson from Dave. Again many thanks Dave.

Go for Diane...you will not regret it, they are one of the best (if not the Best) deals in Large Format. Now if someone could make a replacement bellows that does not break the bank some of these old cameras would keep going for another 100 years.

Good Morning,

First of all, Thanks, I am always happy to hear that our screens are working out for you all.

Paul, your screen went out in yesterdays international posting, and I will be shipping more screens today to other international destinations.

Ron, finding replacement ektalight screens is difficult for the graphic series of cameras, most of the current screens on the market are not the correct thickness, I however have has some luck at the christian book stores, they sometimes sell small fresnels for page magnification for readers that work as focus screen fresenels, the fresnel that are sold by Staples and Office Max are to thick for the 4 x 5 application, there is a person on ebay, that sells very thin fresnels, but he is very expensive.

We don't have alot of request for fresnel screens, but if there is enough requests, I am sure I could secure a source for them at a reasonable price.

Again, thanks all, spring is here and time to get out shooting!

I recently got my two 4x5 screens from Dave as well. At that price how could I afford not to buy two? I promptly set up the camera and new screen on my porch to look at the mountains above us. My four year old and I looked and played with the camera untill the light was gone. Had a great time
