We had a process camera with a vacuum back like that in our high school's print shop. I wonder if they still have it.

I used to run one that big years and years ago (in my best geezer voice). It was a Clydesdale brand camera, had 4000 watts of light at the copyboard. It had cranks on the darkroom end too so you could focus the GG, I'd lie in wait for the girls from pasteup to come in and try to put something on the copy board to shoot then move it suddenly. Put a good scare in them, that is until they heard me rolling on the floor.

Wimps! No one is into making use of heavy duty cameras on location. Has everyine sold their mules and photographic wagon? This is really very sad.

In those rare times when i shlep my gear away from the car, i feel like a pack mule.

I have traded the mule and wagon in for a toyota sequoia. It smells better, and shits less.

Isn't that a pizza oven?

Nope I don't think so. It's probably an intergallactic black hole.

Mind you I do remember seeing a short article in AP here in the UK about a certain poloroid camera. I think it was a 20x26 inch camera. I cost something daft like 750 quid a day to hire, but came with three free frames per day. Crazy.

We owned a twin to the one shown, dissassembled it and hauled it to the dump. Still use the vacuum back though!

Well. yeah! I've seen where one enterprising individual mounted a process camera like that in the back of a van and shot 25x36 inch negs and contacted them. Even the magazine reproduction tone glowed, I don't know how. Took some gumption and skill to pull that off.
