Well, some people just asked for it... (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

But frankly, who gives the attention your work demands? Are you lonesome or famous?

I voted "friends," but they might just be faking it

Friends and family and, honestly, I don't think they're faking ;-)

Friends and family...They truly like it...otherwise they wouldn't come back and have me shooting then again and again...

My customer and me.

Public at large? Lots of compliments but in reality they don't mean too much to me.

Merely lip service until they become my customer.

The state funding body that keeps giving us grants to live off and continue our work... although they don't know yet about our new infatuation. Hmmm.

A contemporary art museum that bought one of our works....

other customers and clients.

Suppose we can't complain. But no one likes our work they way we do.

Absolutely no one! I frankly am not bothered by that fact. I don't even care for some of my own images! On ocassion I have asked myself why am I doing this, my self didn't know either.

Pity we couldn't choose more than one option in the poll. I chose the public, but in reality it should have been all of them - myself first, followed by the others in that list.

I interpreted "public at large" to mean my employer and my clients.

I voted "my family" - but of course they only get to see a few of the ones I care about myself. If I don't care, they're not pictures.

Why is there no choice for "my employer"?

When I saw the title of this thread, I momentarily thought the sentiment was:

"Who cares about you and your stupid 'photography'?"

Made me laugh.

I think I'm all alone with my photography. Perhaps when my son is older he'll care too.

Nah!! I care - and I think we ALL care about each others' work.

That wasn't a choice in the survey, though.
