It is infrared, but I don't think film was used. Probably used a digital camera that has been converted for infrared use. After all, why say "no photoshop was used" instead of "this is XXX film".

One of the other infrared photos in that photostream has a bit of colour in the sky, which wouldn't happen with film. And some of the images are in shade, but with a strong infrared effect, which would indicate a longish exposure, from which I would expect a little movement from the people, but they are pretty sharp. I'd also expect grain with infrared photos taken on film.

It also gives me a digital IR vibe. Anyway, you can certainly get similar effects from film, it's just that the exposures are typically many stops longer with film...

Regarding skin tones, that is a strong function of the lighting. Also, the model is far too small in the frame to see the porcelain skin effect and gothic eyes that you normally see with IR.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking digital as well but I was not sure. Yeah I am interested in shoot some IR with film.

Can't wait to shoot some 120 but gotta wait til the leaves come out.
