Which Rolleiflex is this?

I recently found a new camera. Any idea which model this is? I'm trying to find the manual for it.

Take it out of the case, there are should be a serial number on top of the name plate and letters in like "DRP" and "DRGM" on mine later models will have B in place of D.

It appears to be an early model but we will need more info to help you out such as what lens, serial number and such. Have you checked out www.rolleiclub.com ?

I can barely see the serial number, it seems to be N6567202

You might look for a Focal Press Rollieflex/Rolleicord Guide something like a 1950's copy covers all the early versions very well. £2.99 on Amazon at the moment, WD Emmanuel, 18th Edition 1950. I have one I picked up in the 1970's when I bought a Rolleiflex II.

Edit: this may be incorrect because you have a seven digit SN but this may be a start for you.

Must be incorrect

It's got a 7.5cm lens, so it's 6x6.

It is a Rolleiflex Old Standard 1932-1938. Should have a Zeiss Jena Tessar 4.5, 3.8 or 3.5 taking lens. If it has a 4.5 it is a model 620, 3.8 is model 621 and 3.5 is model 622. And it says just Compur, so shutter speeds should range from B, 1sec-1/300s.

Any other questions let me know, there is a whole list of different variations that distinguish between the cameras production years 32-38.

Are you sure you are reading the serial number correctly? Because, Rolleiflex Old Standard serial numbers are in separated blocks of consecutive numbers ranging from 200,000 to about 568,000 and maybe a few after that. But if you say the serial number is indeed seven digits, I am not sure why it would have seven.

Andy: its hard to see but maybe the serial says "No567202" instaed of N6567202. No being number maybe.. And yes it has a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 1:3.5 f=7,5cm

I think it is the Rollei Old Standard Rolleiflex (type 3) from roughly 1938. At least that's what my book says!

I also have it as an Old Standard type 3. My book shows 567,550 as the last serial number used on these. If that's accurate, yours must have been one of the very last that were produced?

Sounds like a nice find! I have a slightly later New Standard, dated to March 1939. The lens is absolutely astonishing in its tonal rendition.

thanks guys! unfortunately it's not in very good condition. there's no magnifying glass on the top. and there's no way to tell the shutter speed and aperture.. i don't see any numbers haha

True, except for the last bit. Most of the 3,5 models have the Compur-Rapid shutter and 1/500 as the fastest speed, but it still says "Compur" only on the front.
