in a box of darkroom supplies that someone gave our school we found a couple of boxes marked Lowel LIght LLI, the light switch has a code of LJA on the product. Strange little fixture, but clueless how they are used.

anyone familar with this item?

i would hate to throw away something that someone could use.


also was include a WEN cordless studio sync WP-SSR.

Hi Ann,

It sounds like it might be the original Lowel Light that took ES reflector lamps - the ones that are about four inches in diameter. As far as my memory serves, it had a sort of notched plate mount, similar to the current version. The current version takes the smaller MR-16 lamps and is coded L1-100.

Does that sound anything like correct?

and yes it has a funky notch plat mount and the light socket moves,
