I concur. I find the more I read the more I want to brush up on and the more it is in this book. Brilliant!

Just a quick update. I just got word from the publisher that WBM2 is almost sold out now (has dropped to minimum inventory level). In other words, only a few hundred are left. That's pretty amazing, because it has been for sale for only a little over 4 1/2 months now. The good news is: it's scheduled for a reprint in April. So, there shouldn't be any shortages!

Great news! It's a fabulous book. Full of useful information. Not in any way an easy book. More of a reference that you can return too over and over again. I'm glad for both of you that it has sold so well in this day and age.

FWIW, Bob, I think you are selling yourelf short. If you are interested in the book I think it is a good investment. If nothing else, it will help you raise the right questions. Definitely a good addition to my library. Can't speak to the kindle version. I prefer treeware, though, so I probably won't know.

Decided to go with the 'treeware' version. Thanks.

Now I will need to get a copy of the second printing of the second edition too! Will it be the same as the first printing of the second edition?

Of course, a new edition is an improvement over the previous edition, but another printing is identical to the previous. There may be the occasional typo that is (hopefully) corrected, but there are no content changes whatsoever. The goal of an additional printing is to make more of the same.

Ok, I should delete post #38, but I think having both the second printing of the second edition and the first printing of the second edition on my book shelf for quick referencing would not only look good, but also would help your margin.

Congratulations to you. I just received my sample of the Way Beyond Monochrome edition 2 as a slightly overdue birthday present this day, so I guess my book may have been one of those "few hundreds left". Got lucky I guess

Now I had a look at the book, I can just say waauw... Great to have. Although I consider myself a pretty seasoned photographer and printer by now, much owed to the great knowledge base of APUG and its members, the WBM book will still be a good and interesting read from the quick look I had through it.

The book must have been a monumental task, and explanatory graphics are excellent.

Well worth the buy, and thanks for creating this book!

Finally ordered one from Amazon a couple of weeks ago and it arrived this past week.

Of course, I'm afraid to pick it up or I might I get a hernia ...

Just to let everyone know, the 2nd print run of Way Beyond Monochrome Ed2 was finished on April 16th! Just in time, I might add, as the 1st print run was already sold out, only six months after its introduction!

Thank you all for buying 7,000 copies so far!

You guys (and gals) make it all worth while.
