Using overhead transparancies for printing gum bichromates, color channels in photosh

Hi guys,

Im not sure wether i am posting in the right group right now. But this one seemed the best for me.

So i am just starting to get into printing gum prints. I have read thuroughly trough the subject all over the internet and books. What i read alot is that people use photoshop to split CMYK or RGB channels in order to print seperate color channels on transparancies. It has a nice look to it. However it isnt really what i am looking for.

Personally im a big fan of B/W. I however managed to get my hands on some real nice natural pigments. Sienna, ochre, the raw and burned variants. Which on there own allow you to make also monochrome prints. It got me thinking though. What if i had a photo in photoshop. That strictly excisted out of brown colors. different tones, slightly different colors.
Would it perhaps be possible for photoshop to split these different browns into seperate color channels. Allowing one to print different layers on top of each other. Every layer a seperate tone of brown.

And if not with photoshop. Does anyone know of a program which could do this?
