UNIVERSAL 45 VC SYSTEM??

Is anyone using the Beseler UNIVERSAL 45 VC SYSTEM?

If so how do you like it?

I am currently using a Zone VI VC Head but recently purchased a Beseler 45V-XL with the Universal 45 Color Head and I'm thinking about getting the VC controller for it.

I love it!! Bought it on eBay from a guy in MN. Since I live in IA I just drove a few hours to pick it up to save on shipping charges. It's to big to ship UPS so I saved at least a couple hundred dollars.

It included the UNIVERSAL Head with the Color Controller, but I think that I'm going to go ahead and get the VC Controller to go with it.

Paid just over $1,500 and it is in like new condition.

Well I decided to order the VC Controller last week from Calumet.

I placed my order online and received a confirmation email saying that it would ship the same day.

A few days later and I still didn’t have the package (I live close enough to their warehouse that I receive my orders next day after shipment) so I call to see why it hasn’t shipped yet.

The guy tells me he will check into it and get back to me. He calls me back quickly and tells me that the item showing in stock on their web site was a mistake. It seems that some one had returned a defective unit and it should not have been placed back in stock.

I asked him if it would be back ordered and he told me that Beseler is no longer making or repairing these units!

So it looks like I’m in the market for a used one. If anyone knows where I can pick one up please let me know.
