Tetenal Superfix Plus - non acidic ? ok with pyro ?

Hello,

Title says it all really ...

I'm running low on my Ilford Rapid Fixer and was wondering if my Tetenal Superfix Plus would be ok with Pyro ?

I don't have the means, or don't yet know how to test for Ph with what I have here ...

There is a difference in smell - one more oakey with bitter chocolate midtones, the other is like raw banana skins, milk and a hint of 'surface of venus'

Anyone ?
