I'm a photography student, this will be my third year and I've loved working with my film camera. This summer I went to Africa, when I returned it cost me a wad to get all my film developed
so I invested in a digital camera (d70s). Only to find that I can't stand digital or photoshop even. I was going to try to sell my camera on ebay, but my boyfriend (also a photographer mostly b&w) convinced me to keep it. He says its convienient for some things, I came to the realization he was correct, but all of my true art will be done with film. I've also decided to develop and print my own stuff (I'm very excited) so it was wonderful to stumble upon a group such as yourselves to garner some darkroom and development wisdom. I'm sure I will be pestering you all from the corner of my windowless bathroom. Oh I also live in Alabama and I'm planning for a BFA in Photography that should lead to an MFA in Photography. In the market for some good schools I've been looking around perhaps you know of one you could suggest. I'm trying to keep my options open and look for one where I think I will learn the most.
