What is the advantages of stand development actually?can somebody explain to me on how to develop film using stand development technique?i'm using Kodak Trix400 and ilford HP5+ most of the time.what is the developer that is suitable for this technique?

If you search this particular part of the forum, you will find a good deal of information on the topic. Expect to ruin a few sheets or rolls of test film until you get what you want. Search function is at the top of the page. Use the "advanced search" and pick the b&w film/development posts.
