Hi,

I am thinking of going to see Impressionist Camera at Art Museum. I want to know if there is a section of city where I can find a reasonable accommodation. I think I am flying into the city.

Any information is appreciated.

Warmly,
Tsuyoshi

I guess it depends on what you call reasonable. There are plenty of hotels near the airport, and some more downtown. There aren't any which are very close to the Art Museum (it's in a park). Thanks for the reminder, I keep forgetting about this. I want to go see it too.

Good Evening, Tsuyoshi,

Diane is correct. If I recall correctly, however, there is a motel or two in the vicinity of I-44 and Hampton Avenue; that location is just a couple of miles south of Forest Park where the Art Museum is located. I can't recall offhand which chain(s) are represented there. Ditto on Diane's thanks for the reminder about that exhibit. I keep intending to go, but keep putting it off.

Good Evening, Again, Tsuyoshi,

Just a follow-up--There is a Holiday Inn at 5915 Wilson. That location is about half a block from Interstate 44 at Hampton Avenue.

Thanks Diane and Konical,

I just want to fly into the city just for the show. I just saw the catalog and figure out that it is worth taking a trip. I am not familiar with the area (though I was there about 5 years ago!), so I just wanted to make sure that I can get closer to the desitination since I do not drive (unless my girlfriend is coming with me).

I will look into Holiday Inn. I am thinking of going to there over the last weekend of the show. Would anyone interested in meeting me for a dinner or something?

Warmly,
Tsuyoshi

Good Morning, Tsuyoshi,

Possibly. I can't predict exactly what I may be doing that far ahead, but I'd consider attending at the same time and providing you with a ride. What is the last day of the show? Around mid-May??

Konical,

The last day of the show is May 14.

I just need to make sure that this is something I can afford right now... I may not know until very last minutes as well. It would be great if it works out.

Warmly,
Tsuyoshi
