SOLD SOLD SOLD
Hello all,
Letting go of another of my M-mount lenses in an effort to 'less is more' my photography gear (y'all know I'm gonna just go buy more gear though). Anyway... This is a really good condition Zeiss Sonnar 50mm f/1.5 in black with the OEM hood, caps, a B+W filter and the original boxes for both the lens and the hood (oddly, the hood box is much larger than the lens box). I probably have the original box for the filter as well, but I'll have to dig for it so no promises. Overall condition is excellent. I've owned this lens for about a year and it has produced excellent results on my M6. The aperture clicks appropriately and the focus is nicely damped and very smooth.
Note: I have not shot this lens on digital and cannot comment on how it will perform in regards to focus shift or calibration or corner sharpness on a gazillion megapickle modern sensor as I don't shoot with those. You might get amazing results on your Sony A7-whatever or it might be a shit show. Can't say. What I can say is that it works WONDERFULLY on my M6 and my only reason for letting this go is that I'm more of a 35mm shooter and I've gone to using the Voigtlander 35/1.4 pretty exclusively (even though the Zeiss is the better lens).
I am asking $700 $600 OBO on this lens inclusive of PayPal fees and shipping within the US. Please ask any questions and I'll do my very best to get you an answer in a timely manner. I'm including a few images shot with this lens on my M6 on Portra 160 and ColorPlus 200.
Thanks,
Matthew
