SOLD From the second model Autocord, wit hthe Optiper MXS shutter. 10-bladed aperture as on the Seikosha shutter. This is before they added the shutter indicator window below the wind knob. The shutter goes to 1/400, not 1/500 (well, this one goes to 1/270, pretty good for an old leaf shutter). Has the same Rokkor lens as later models, basically the same guts and design.
Everything overhauled- focus system, wind system, shutter, aperture and shutter dials. New mirror installed original (nice fresnel system) focus screen cleaned. New Griptac covering, the nicest handling for a TLR.
Lens: the taking lens has a few small marks only visible in back lighting, I'm not sure if they are called scratches or what. No effect on images. Viewing lens has more scratch marks/ cleaning larks but this makes no difference in use. Both cases almost impossible to photograph. Perfect mint they are not, in use they are in great shape.
Cosmetics- very good. Typical scrapes and such for this camera.
A great introduction to the Autocord camera, working well, fully functional, and if you really like the Autocord you could either use this one for years or 'upgrade' to a later model.
Will come with a cheap plastic lens hood because, well, you should use one with TLRs!
