This perhaps the rarest of the Banquet cameras. I don't think they sold very many. I haven't seen a half dozen of them offered in all my many years of shooting large format.

The bellows were in tatters when I got it, and not being able to afford a bellows project, I taped everything up in gaffers black cloth tape and went shooting. It's usable but not pretty! It would be a noble project to upgrade this as it's really in pretty nice shape.

Lens is also quite rare. It's a Kollmorgen Sterling Improved Wide Angle and it works at about 6 1/2". It's a fine sharp little thing, made for 8X10. The single holder seems to be light tight. I made some images with it and don't recall leaks. You can get 10X12 XRAY film and cut in half for this. Or maybe you're lucky enough to have some 5" long roll Aerial film.

$1125.00 for this little beastie. We'll figure out shipping and I'll pay half, eh?

In many ways gaffers tape is the equal of ‘duct tape’.

Mmmm, about 4 1/2 times the cost and more "clothy" than plastic vinyl like the duck tape. No, it isn't classy, but it's classier than duck tape.

    It is a film holder.
I tried to upload an image made last week but my computer is acting wonky. Maybe I can put it in the gallery later on. But, yes, film.
