I am looking to shoot it in a hassy XPan as a social documentary on the people of the Winter X-Games in my home town.

I am very interested in seeing some good galleries of it and some overall opinions on the film and scanning it. I will be using an Imacon Flextight for doing the scan work.

I know it is kind of grainy and a bit contrasty but that look is perfect for the subject.

Is there anyone that shoots and publishes it regularly?

I would love to see some niche images with this niche film.

I was going to give Scala a go before Christmas, but the £13.90 per roll price tag put me off!

Yeah, it is pricey. I am limiting it to 20 rolls on this time around.

Now what about shooting HP5 in .dr5 over Scala? Cheaper, not really considering it balances out price wise.

Only thing I can personally tell you is it's a pretty interesting film in negative development. Posted a photo of some Scala at 200EI developed in HC110B... will try to link, but html-handicapped... it's in my portfolio here...

Change supplier Andy... I get it at €10 (still not cheap, but beats your guy big time!)

Niko,

I have only found Scala in one place here, and that is Jessops. Although processing is included in the price, I still think it's pricey!

Ps, is it me, or have you posted your photo upside down? I can't get a grip on the perspective.

Ah... processing included is another story.
Yes, the photo is a reflection in water
