Sigma FP cage suggestions?

Anyone using the sigma FP with the side mounted EVF-11 know of a cage that is compatible with it? Smallrig states that their sigma FP cage does not work with the EVF-11 but I'm not sure why as it does seem to work with the hot shoe unit that takes the same place. Anyone try the combination of smallrig (CCM2518) with Sigma FP and EVF-11?

Yes I use that rig with the EVF without problems. The EVF will not be able to go vertically, but it stops at a very nice angle.
