I would like to visit Sicily in the next couple of months, do you know anyone there that can give me some advice on travel, prices, hotels etc. For this I will send you a carbro print of the place as a reward. Thanks, Mac

I found the Greek ruins in Sicily some of the best I've seen in the world...

Some of the places I felt the architecture as well as the Greek ruins were particulary interesting: Agrigento, Siracusa, Noto, Cefalu, and Palermo...

Hi carbromac,
I'm from Sicily and can confirm what Ceratto says above. Of course it also depends on the duration of your stay and what your plans are. Sicily is the biggest island in the Med and there is lot to travel in. If you like landscapes you have the choice of beaches and coasts and shores, but also nearly African looking plains, countryside and Alpine looking landscapes on the mountains. Not to forget Etna, most active volcano in Europe. You have also the chance of doing some street photos in the towns and villages and discovering local markets. Or visiting villages and towns during Saints celebrations or food festivals..... From an architectural point of view you'll have chance of seeing also old baroque buildings, palaces, Roman mosaics, marks of Arabian and Norman domination.....you can also visit the small minor isles offshore Sicily...?
