Hi

I have found a schneider symmar 360/5.6-620/12 convertible, I would like to know if this lens is possible to use on 8x20,because I didn't found information about it,and which shutter can I use on it? Because the lens I've found is mounted on electronic Compur shutter(dosen't work).

Thanks

It should cover 7x17" but I notice soft corners at f22.
Mine is mounted in a compound shutter but I don't know if threads correspond with a Compur Electronic.

Mine is in a Compound #5 shutter.

Image circle is stated as 500mm at f:16, and I believe it should cover 8x20" adequately at smaller stops.

It should definitely cover 8X20. My 360 convertible Symmar covers 12X20 with just a tad of movement. You need to stop down to about f/45, though.

However, it is with 7X17 that this lens really shines. Lots of movement, and a beautiful bright image.

This lens has been much under-appreciated for ULF work IMO.

Mine too is in a Compound #5 shutter and I was extremely pleased when I was able to snatch it up at a surprising great price due to a slight rim dings. I got it for my 11x14, but it is presently on my V8. I have only exposed a couple of sheets which still need to be developed.
